About this case
Jon Taylor (@JonPTaylor) published this on 2026-09-17. @JonPTaylor shows Jamcat, a voice UI where Pipecat hands off between a Jev command agent that drives the UI and PhoneLLM for generations and discussion. They are in London calling us-west and still call it snappy. Wow, @typesafeai Jev is a game changer for voice-driven UI. Responsiveness really matters for an experience to 'feel' right, and this certainly does the job! Latency here is not optimal given I'm in London and calling out to us-west. How Jev or TypeSafe is used, in the post's own words: “Wow, @typesafeai Jev is a game changer for voice-driven UI.” The post does not name a separate audience. It is for people reading what @JonPTaylor shows here (it includes media).
