Cold email is dead because most qualified people (CEOs/CMOs etc. - tech savvy buyers) now run custom spam filters, and those that don't will soon. Here's how I…

About this case

Product write-up. Robin Choy describes a custom spam filter for three inboxes (~500 non-spam emails/week). Gmail Pub/Sub webhooks push new mail to a Cloud Run service that mixes hard rules with one Jev call of five typed questions (email kind, what is sold, self-promotion, mass template, AI-aimed text). Calibrated probabilities route sales to Spam, borderline to archive+label, rest to inbox. Weekly digests and mark-as-not-spam feedback refine it. Cost: Cloud Run/Pub/Sub/Upstash free tier; Jev ~$0.04/month; AgentMail $2 for a public inbox. Verified via fxtwitter; text-only (empty media).
